Bettina Wittneben

Bettina WittnebenBettina B. F. Wittneben received her MBA from the University of Alberta and the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Grenoble. She completed her PhD in Strategic Management at the Judge Business School (University of Cambridge) on institutional change in the transfer of climate-friendly technology. She has consulted the UN climate secretariat as well as worked as Senior Research Fellow at the Wuppertal Institute of Climate, Environment and Energy. As Assistant Professor for Business-Society Management at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, she founded the Sustainability and Climate Research Centre. Bettina is now researching international climate governance at the Smith School for Enterprise and the Environment and the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford. She is also Senior Research Fellow in Management Studies at Pembroke College, University of Oxford.

As Advisor to the Board of Trustees, she provides input into issues related to sustainability education, climate change governance and energy efficiency measures. She was appointed to this position by the Board in 2009.
