Brigadier Charles Wright served in the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards for 35 years. He saw service in the Middle East, Africa, Gibraltar, Canada and Northern Ireland. After leaving the Army in late 1993, he was appointed Chief Executive of the Middle Temple, one of the Inns of Court in London. Amongst his responsibilities were the management of graduates joining the legal profession, the financial and estate management of the Inn and the negotiation and implementation of policies decided on by the Inns Council. His interests include the environment, music and equestrian activities.
