The Living Rainforest is pleased to announce the Prize Winners of the 2010-11 National Schools Essay Competition:

Key Stage 2 (Ages 7-11)

150 received – 74 shortlisted

1st Place – James Fisher (Jumeirah)

Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14)

105 received – 50 shortlisted

1st Place – Georgina Gard (Old Palace of John Whitgift)

2nd Place – Callum James (Oratory)

3rd Place (joint winners) – Cat Eccles (Stroud); Ben Sharp (Uckfield Community Technology College)

Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16)

16 received – 12 shortlisted

1st Place – Isobel Fernandes (St. Mary’s Ascot)

2nd Place – Sophie Davidson (St. Mary’s Ascot)

3rd Place – Madeleine Parsons (St. Mary’s Ascot)

Congratulations!

Trophies will be awarded to the prize winners, with certificates to all shortlisted students,  at the 2010-11 National Schools Debates on 16-17 March, 2011.
