As part of the lead-up to the Rio+20 Earth Summit in Brazil in June 2012, The Living Rainforest is pleased to announce the launch of its 2012 essay competition and debate, Dear Mr. UN Secretary-General …
We want to hear what children think governments and world leaders should be doing to build a more sustainable future on planet Earth.
Building on the success of the 2011 competition (How on Earth Can We Save the Rainforests?’), we’re inviting submissions from internationally-minded students and schools around the world.
Get your thinking caps on now … 1st prize is a once-in-a-lifetime trip to attend the United Nations Rio+20 Earth Summit in Brazil!

The deadline is midnight March 30th 2012.
All Teacher Champions need to upload their student essays directly onto the website by logging in at http://www.livingrainforest.org/explore/schools-debate/schools-essay-competition/

Hello! How the winner will be informed personally? through teacher champion login id or through teacher champion personal mail-id.
Teacher Champions have been notified directly via email. There is no need to log back in to the competition pages. Thank you for asking.

The primary school winners will be announced on 16th May at the Primary Schools Debate and on this website.
The secondary school winners will be announced on 17th May at the Secondary Schools Debate and on this website.
