Pay once and visit free for a year!

The Living Rainforest is proud to announce a new admissions scheme which allows returning visitors to enter free for a whole year.

The new ‘Annual Ticket’ costs only about £1 more than the old day-entry ticket but allows visitors to return as many times as they like for free for one year, with the exception of Bank holidays between March and September.

Under the new scheme, entry prices are as follows:

  • Adult £7.95
  • Child (5 to 14) £5.95
  • Child (3 to 4) £4.95
  • Family (2 adults, 2 children) £24.95
  • OAP/Student/Concession £6.95 and
  • Under 3’s Free.

The scheme provides a practical solution to increasingly complicated and confusing ‘Gift Aid’ legislation, which in recent years has required visitors to donate an extra 10% above normal day entry prices in order to allow charities like The Living Rainforest to benefit from additional tax reclaims. Annual Ticket holders can now ‘Gift Aid’ their admission payment without having to pay extra.

For visitors keen to experience the best that The Living Rainforest has to offer, an enhanced ‘Rainforest Membership’ scheme is also available. This includes: free admission year-round including Bank holidays, free or reduced price entry to other participating attractions, invitations to special Living Rainforest events, and a 10% discount in the shop.

“The new annual schemes offer excellent value for money and a great opportunity for visitors to see The Living Rainforest through the changing seasons,” says Rupert West, operations manager at the eco-centre.

The new arrangements mean that it is no longer possible to purchase a single day entry ticket unless one is visiting as part of a pre-arranged school or group booking or special discount scheme.
