Potter Magic at The Living Rainforest

Actor, Alec Hopkins, is kicking off a series of Harry Potter’s Magical Herbology days at The Living Rainforest this summer. Alec, who plays the young Severus Snape in the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will meet visitors to the centre at Hampstead Norreys, near Newbury, on Thursday 2nd August, to launch the series of events being held every Thursday in August.

Young muggles can attend Magical Herbology classes, potting up their own enchanted plants from the Harry Potter books in special Hairy Hagrid pots. Face painters will be on hand to transfigurate them into magical creatures and wizarding guides will help visitors follow the mysterious forest trails. Youngsters will also be able to have their photographs taken with Alec who will be at The Living Rainforest all afternoon to sign books and answer questions about the Harry Potter film.
