Visitor Information

Gift Aid is a scheme to encourage individuals and businesses to donate more money to charity. Under the scheme, UK charities can claim back the basic rate tax already paid on gifts of money received from individuals who pay or have paid UK tax. Currently this means that if you Gift Aid your Annual Ticket Admission the government will give us an extra 28% on top of your donation. It makes a substantial difference to charities such as The Living Rainforest.

We regret that assistance dogs are not allowed inside the greenhouses; the presence of dogs is very stressful for all our animals, free ranging and captive. The collection is disease controlled and worm tested on a regular basis; the presence of a non-quarantined animal in the greenhouses will significantly increase the risk of disease transfer. We would be happy to mind the assistance animal whilst the owner goes around the facility.
Assistance animals are allowed in the cafe and shop on a lead. We do not allow dogs in the children’s play area and picnic area.
