Admission prices
Please ‘Gift Aid’ your admission and help The Living Rainforest. Gift Aid is a scheme to encourage individuals and businesses to donate more money to charity. Under the scheme, UK charities can claim back the basic rate tax already paid on gifts of money received from individuals who pay or have paid UK tax. Currently this means that if you Gift Aid your admission, the government will give us an extra 28% on top of your donation. It makes a substantial difference to charities such as The Living Rainforest.

Exhibits
Explore the rainforest, and discover its wonders for yourself. Look out for free roaming lizards, birds and butterflies – you never know where they will appear next! Plus … monkeys, a crocodile, toucans, snakes and much more. See some of the world’s most popular food plants – bananas, coffee, cocoa, ginger, vanilla … - and plants that give us life-enhancing medicines, cosmetics and building materials. More about exhibits…
Access for all
The Living Rainforest is fully wheelchair accessible. The centre is family and baby friendly, with nappy-changing and bottle warming facilities available.
We regret that assistance dogs are not allowed inside the greenhouse, as the presence of dogs is very stressful for all our animals, free ranging and captive. The collection is disease controlled and worm tested on a regular basis; the presence of a non-quarantined animal in the greenhouses will significantly increase the risk of disease transfer. We would be happy to mind the assistance dog while the owner visits the glasshouses. Assistance dogs are allowed in the cafe and shop on a lead. We do not allow dogs in the children’s play area and picnic area.
